Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through NationalEligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. With two years of research experience |

The candidate should have MSc. in Physics, Mathematics, Oceanography, Atmospheric Science with valid NET or GATE score and having at least two years of research experience.

B.Tech. in civil Eng., Mechanical Eng., Ocean Eng. and Naval Architecture, Aero space Eng. with valid GATE Score and having at least two years of research experience.
or
M.Tech. in Physics, Mathematics, Climate sciences, Oceanography, Atmospheric Science, Ocean Eng., Earth System Science and Technology and Ocean Eng. and Naval Architecture.
Candidates having numerical modelling and/or programming experience is preferred. |
