| Essential Qualification |
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through NationalEligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc. With two years of research experience |
| Desired Experience |
M.Tech / M.E. in Mechanical, Civil, Mining or Applied Mechanics Engineering.
OR
B.Tech with valid GATE score Or B.Tech with high CGPA from an institute of good NIRF rank. GATE score is a must. For candidates from NIT and IIT with CGPA greater than 8.0 the GATE score may be waived.
Strongly Desired:
Knowledge in Solid Mechanics and experience with experimental or computational techniques related to stress-strain analysis.
Candidates are required to work on Structural health analysis of machines, FEM-based numerical simulations, high-speed imaging analysis, and develop mathematical models. |
