| Essential Qualification | Educational qualification: B. Tech or equivalent in Metallurgical & Materials Engg/Mechanical Engineering as well as M. Tech in Metallurgical & Materials Engg/Mechanical Engg/Applied Mechanics or equivalent specializations, along with two years experience in research related Materials Engg. Scholars with the above-mentioned educational qualification, who were selected through CSIR-UGC-NET including lecturership (Asst. Professorship) or GATE or National Level examinations conducted by Central Govt Depts and their Agencies such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc) with a minimum of two years of research experience in the area of Materials Engg. after M. Tech or other qualifications mentioned above |
| Desired Experience | Experience in the area of creep and fracture behaviour of materials is desirable. |
